  1. Grammar Police

And hey, this blog gets a mention! Woo! Go Ruby!

  2. I finally peered closely at the Secret On Ararat cover. Shockingly, there is an ark-shaped glow there. WHAT COULD THIS MEAN?!

I do hope it’s not just an ark-shaped beacon. The charming and diligent (if wicked and naughty) keepers of Castle Anthrax and their grail-shaped beacon would be quite wroth at the competition.

  3. Speaking of the cover, if this book is supposed to be about the ark, why is it all red and flamey? What kind of sense does that make?

    • I have no idea, but I suppose it makes as much sense as the other covers:

Babylon Rising (bronze serpent) is black

The Secret on Ararat (Noah’s ark) is red

The Europa Conspiracy (handwriting on the wall) is…marbley-looking? blackish?

The Edge of Darkness (lost temple of Dagon) is mainly yellow, with red and blue

      • inquisitiveraven

Ruby, the formatting on your Amazon (I assume affiliate) links is wonky.

      • Lost temple of Dagon, huh? [Yes, I know what this really means, but.] I do hope there’s a bathysphere involved, or at least a deep-diving submarine.

Still, the RTC version of a sanity-blasting unnameable horror is probably two men holding hands, so I won’t keep my hopes up.

        • “Still, the RTC version of a sanity-blasting unnameable horror is probably two men holding hands, so I won’t keep my hopes up.”

This was my early-morning laugh, so thank you.

          • ‘The Europa Conspiracy’ Could you be more specific LaHaye? Did you ever write a novel where there wasn’t a Europian conspiracy? We have the Seven here, Nicolae came from Romania, and Josh Jordan is defending his great nation from the rich yet evil (not a common combination at all) Europian buisnessmen out to marginalize the US.

  4. Ruby Tea, thankyou again. Love your take-down of this series.

I read the first book in it many years ago & wondered if they could get worse, well, now I know and yep. I hail your snarkiness and analysis – spot on and true.
